Dalla Terra alla Luna. L’arte in viaggio verso l’astro d’argento

Fifty years after the landing of the first man on the Moon, Palazzo Madama hosts a unique exhibition with more than 60 works including paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings and design objects telling the influence of the Moon on artists and on art in general from the 19th century to 1969.

The works displayed come not only from some of the most important Turin’s museums such as GAM – Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Fondazione accorsi-ometto, Pinacoteca albertina and Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento, but also from very important Italian and international museums, institutions and private collections including Palazzo Reale in Naples, Museo correr in Venice, Certosa di San Giacomo in Capri, Museu Coleção Berardo in Lisbon,, Mart in Trento and Rovereto, Intesa San Paolo collection, Fondazione Marconi and Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro in Milan, Fondazione Barilla in Parma, Archivio Gastone Novelli in Rome.
